Dr. Del and Nancy Belcher
Del has served the church in ordained ministry for thirty years, having earned the Master of Divinity (’95) and Doctor of Ministry (’11) degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, FL. He is a Teaching Elder in the PCA, Honorably Retired, and Pastor Emeritus at Pathway Covenant Presbyterian Church, PCA, Brighton, MI. Since 2004, he has also served as an adjunct professor in undergrad and graduate degree programs for various colleges and universities in Michigan. He presently serves as faculty with Seminario Reformado Latinoamericano (SRL), as Director of SRL’s Doctor of Ministry Degree Program, and as an advisor to SRL’s Founder, President, and Chancellor, Dr. Noe Acosta.
SRL is located in Medellin, Colombia, and Orlando, FL; it has extensions in many countries in Latin America. Since January 2019, Del has taught in SRL extensions, making over 40 trips to various of these SRL sites: in Cuba, Mexico, El Salvador, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Venezuela, on-site and online. Along with these locations, Del has also lectured in various Presbyteries in Mexico and Colombia.
Del and Nancy met at Wheaton College and have been married for 45 years.
They were members of Howell Branch Fellowship, Winter Park, FL (now Covenant Presbyterian Church, Oviedo, FL) from 1990 – 1995 during Dr Jack Arnold’s pastorate there. Del served under Jack as the church’s Worship Leader/Music Director while in seminary. Jack and Carol’s influence has been a lifelong blessing to them. To serve now with EPI is, by God’s providence, an amazing “coming full circle.”
Del and Nancy focus their EPI ministry primarily equipping pastors and their wives for the extension of Christ’s Church in Latin America.
